PRICING

Coastal Zoom Groom pricing is $70/hour (billed in 15 minute increments). Prices are all-inclusive based on the amount of time spent grooming, which varies based on the following factors that affect the time and effort required to complete the groom:

Breed: Size and weight
Coat: Overall condition, length (short vs. long coat), type (single vs. double coat)
Age: Puppies and young dogs that are new to professional grooming will be more difficult to work on, as are senior dogs who may have health issues that make grooming procedures more stressful to them
Matting: Matted coat is extremely time-consuming to brush out and requires proper technique and skill. Moderate to severe matting can also be painful for the dog to have brushed out; therefore, matting will be evaluated to deem if a complete shave is necessary, in which case requires a longer process of pre-shaving, bathing, and a complete haircut
Temperament: Well-behaved, cooperative pets will be easier to work on and require less time; jumpy, squirmy, uncooperative, aggressive pets will require extra time and patience and poses an extra risk of injury to the groomer (see the Policies page for our policy on aggressive pets)
Maintenance: Pets that are professionally groomed on a regular basis (every 2-6 weeks) and/or brushed regularly at home will have a more manageable, workable coat and will be more habituated to grooming procedures than pets who go for long periods of time without being groomed

We may occasionally be able to accommodate appointments outside of our normal service radius,

but there will be an additional charge for the extra travel time and mileage to come to your specific appointment location.
